Three women appeared before Ennis District Court on Saturday after being arrested at Donald Trump's golf course in Doonbeg, Co Clare.

Three women have been charged with offences allegedly committed at the Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Doonbeg, Co Clare, irishexaminer.com reports.

A woman in her 20s was arrested on Friday evening on a trespassing charge at the golf links. On Saturday, two further women — one in her 30s and one in her 40s — were arrested at the same site on public order offences.

All three appeared before a special sitting of Ennis District Court on Saturday evening.

Gardaí confirmed no further arrests have been made. US President Donald Trump is currently staying at the Doonbeg resort as part of his visit to Ireland, where the Irish Open is also taking place.
