Gardaí and emergency services received reports of the disorder at 8:25pm on Saturday evening. A man, also in his 20s, was left in a critical condition and was taken from the scene for treatment at Beaumont Hospital. Two further men, likewise in their 20s, were brought to St Vincent's Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Two suspects have since been arrested and charged in connection with the investigation. A third man in his 20s was previously charged and has already appeared before the courts.
An Garda Síochána confirmed that investigations into the incident of violent disorder remain ongoing. A spokesperson declined to provide further detail while proceedings are active.
