Two men have been charged with murder following the death of Hendon FC footballer Ezekiel Williams, 26, from London, bbc.com reports.
A post-mortem examination established that Williams died in hospital from head injuries sustained during an incident in the early hours of Sunday on Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes.
Thames Valley Police charged Samuel Hussein, 28, of no fixed abode, and Arman Uddin, 21, of Saxon Road, Luton, each with one count of murder on Thursday night. Both were taken into custody ahead of an appearance at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court.
A third man, aged 30 and also from Luton, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has been released on bail while the investigation continues.
