Delaware SOAR unit flags wanted and homeless sex offenders statewide
The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit (SOAR) has issued a new round of public notifications covering both wanted and homeless sex offenders, dsp.delaware.gov reported on Friday, 11 September 2026.
The unit, operating under Superintendent Colonel William D. Crotty, is actively seeking a number of sex offenders who have failed to register or re-register at their current address as required by law. Members of the public who know the whereabouts of any of these individuals are asked to call SOAR directly at (302) 739-5882. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) 847-3333.
SOAR notes that the individuals named in the notification represent only a portion of the total number of wanted sex offenders currently being sought. The full list is available through the Delaware Sex Offender Registry website.
In a separate category, the unit has also issued notifications for homeless sex offenders — individuals who are not currently wanted for a registration violation but who have recently reported having no fixed address. If any member of the public has information indicating that a listed individual is in fact residing at a property, they are asked to contact SOAR at the same number: (302) 739-5882. Delaware Crime Stoppers remains an alternative avenue for anonymous tips at (800) 847-3333.
As with the wanted list, the homeless individuals named represent only a subset of those currently recorded as homeless on the registry. The Delaware Sex Offender Registry website holds the complete and up-to-date list.
