Officers responded at approximately 9 p.m. to the complex, located near West Charlotte Avenue and Craig Street. The victim — described by Mount Holly police only as a "young Black male" — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police initially detained two individuals, described as "a male and female." After searching an apartment within the complex, officers arrested the woman. No name or description of the suspect was released, and police did not state the specific grounds for her arrest.
