An 11-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following the fatal shooting of her 15-year-old brother in Edmond, Oklahoma, abc7.com reports.
The boy sustained a gunshot wound to the head, according to a Broadcastify recording of Edmond Police and Fire communications. He did not survive.
Police arrested the girl at around 1 a.m. on Thursday. She has since been transported to a juvenile facility, where she was formally booked. The Edmond Police Department confirmed the charge but said it would not release identifying details about either child, given that the case involves juveniles.
