A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting that left two people injured at the Regional Recreation Complex in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, abcnews4.com reports.

Officers from the Moncks Corner Police Department responded at approximately 9:21 pm on Monday to reports of gunfire at the basketball courts off East Main Street. Upon arrival, they found one person with a gunshot wound on the scene. Investigators subsequently learned that a second victim had independently made their way to Roper St. Francis Hospital's Moncks Corner emergency room. Police confirmed both individuals were injured in the same incident.

Following the investigation, Hassan Doiley was identified as the alleged suspect. Investigators obtained six arrest warrants against him: two counts of attempted murder, two counts of pointing and presenting a firearm, and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

After investigators determined that Doiley had likely left their jurisdiction, Police Chief Antwan Richardson contacted the U.S. Marshals Task Force for assistance. Working with the task force and other law enforcement agencies, officers located Doiley and took him into custody without incident. He is to be transported to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center, where the warrants will be formally served.
