A 23-year-old woman from Idaho who publicly claimed her twin toddlers died after receiving vaccinations is now facing murder charges for their deaths. Prosecutors allege Andrea So caused the deaths of her 18-month-old children in May 2025.

According to CNN, the young mother was arrested by police on Tuesday and appeared in court on Thursday. She was released on $2 million bail. If convicted of first-degree murder, she faces life in prison or even the death penalty. Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 14.

In May 2025, So appeared on an online broadcast by the group "Children's Health Defense," claiming she found her twins dead in their bedroom shortly after two nurses administered flu and other routine vaccines. The organization was founded by current US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., though he officially severed ties with it in December 2024 when he joined the Trump administration.

Her attorney, Joe Filicetti, stated his client denies all allegations. He said the state cannot prove the criminal charges against her.

The American Academy of Pediatrics, which is being sued separately by So and Children's Health Defense, has already filed a motion to dismiss that lawsuit. The organization is accused of deceiving families for decades about the safety of the childhood vaccination program.
