The US Secret Service confirmed it is "aware" of the video, according to a spokesperson. No further operational details were disclosed, in line with standard agency practice regarding protective security measures.

Multiple US outlets, including CNN, ABC News, and The Washington Post, reported on the footage aired by Iranian state media. Euronews also confirmed the broadcast included the explicit $10 million bounty figure directed at Barron Trump.

The threat comes amid longstanding tensions between Washington and Tehran. Iran has previously been linked to plots targeting American officials and figures connected to the Trump administration, though the Secret Service did not publicly characterise the current video as credible or specify what protective steps, if any, were being adjusted in response.

Barron Trump, who turned 19 in March, has maintained a largely private profile compared to other members of the Trump family. The Secret Service is responsible for his protection as an immediate family member of the sitting president.
