Kingston 18-Year-Old Jailed After Pointing Gun at Women from Window
An 18-year-old Kingston man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly threatening two women with a firearm at his Pierce Street residence, timesleader.com reports.
Police were called to the home just before 1 p.m. after the two women reported that Stephen Michael Uzialko had confronted them with a gun. The women told officers they had come to collect personal belongings stored inside the house.
When they arrived at the front door, Uzialko opened it while holding a firearm, court records state. As one of the women entered a bedroom to retrieve her belongings, Uzialko grabbed her by the shirt, she later told police.
After both women had left the property, Uzialko appeared in a third-floor window, shouted "You think I'm playing with you?" and aimed the weapon directly at them, according to court records.
Uzialko's mother gave police consent to search the house. Officers found a .22 caliber pistol concealed under a bathroom sink.
Uzialko was arraigned Wednesday evening before District Judge Kyle Halesey on two counts each of terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, and simple assault. He was remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after failing to post $25,000 bail.
