Three arrested over fatal shooting on Arthur Boulevard, Union County

Three people have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Monday night in Union, South Carolina, foxcarolina.com reports. The victim has been identified as Theodore Walker Jr., who was found lying in the grass near the back of a yard at a home on Arthur Boulevard at around 9:44 p.m.

Emergency medical services confirmed Walker was dead upon their arrival. He appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound.

The Union Public Safety Department said its investigation led to the identification of suspects and the signing of arrest warrants.

Omarion Kishawn Lipscomb, 20, was arrested in Buffalo, SC, and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Lipscomb was booked into the Union County Jail and denied bond at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

A 15-year-old was taken into custody and charged with accessory after the fact of murder. The juvenile will be transferred to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia, officers said.

A 16-year-old was subsequently arrested on Wednesday and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. That individual will also be referred to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the investigation, which remains active.
