Nashville murder suspect arrested in Georgia after high-speed pursuit

Deundre Bridges, 38, one of four men indicted on first-degree murder charges in connection with the December 2025 killing of Gavin Thompson in Nashville, has been taken into custody in Forsyth, Georgia, wsmv.com reports.

Metro Nashville police said Bridges fled from officers in a stolen Nissan Maxima, reaching speeds of 130 mph before crashing. He was transported to a Monroe County hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Officers said he was found carrying a firearm at the time of his arrest.

Thompson, 34, was killed on 14 December 2025 at an apartment complex on Zermatt Avenue. Bridges is one of four individuals indicted on first-degree murder charges in the case. Two co-defendants — Anthony Ramsey and Glenwan Hobson Jr. — are already in custody.

A fourth suspect, Babajide Grillo Jr., 29, remains at large. Police are asking anyone with information on Grillo's whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
