Oregon Quintuple Murder-Suicide: Boyfriend Kills Girlfriend and Four Family Members at Farm

Oregon firefighters responding to a vehicle fire discovered five bodies on a farm near Forest Grove, in what police call a quintuple murder-suicide by a woman's boyfriend.

Five Dead on Oregon Farm Property in Quintuple Murder-Suicide

Oregon firefighters arrived at a vehicle fire on a rural property outside Forest Grove on Saturday and found five people dead — the apparent victims of a murder-suicide carried out by the boyfriend of one of them, Law & Crime reports.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) identified the suspect as Benjamin Parker, 36, who was subsequently found dead inside his car in a Safeway parking lot in Enumclaw, Washington, roughly 190 miles northeast of Forest Grove.

The five victims were identified as Rowan Kimsey, 60, the property owner; her mother, Mary Kimsey, 85; Portland couple Linsey Haraldsen, 26, and Alvin Chu, 27; and Stella Kimsey, 26. Causes of death have not yet been released.

"Linsey was Stella's best friend and Alvin was Linsey's partner," WCSO officials said in a press release. "Rowan owned and lived at the property. Stella also lived there with her boyfriend, Benjamin Parker, the suspect in this case."

Dispatch audio obtained by local ABC affiliate KATU captured firefighters at the scene assessing the situation. "We're going to just take our hoses and get out of here," one firefighter can be heard saying. "Let the sheriff's office clear this."

Enumclaw police located Parker after Washington County investigators provided a cell phone ping and a license plate number. Enumclaw Police Chief Tim Floyd told local NBC affiliate KGW that officers ran the plate through the Flock camera system. "We could see that he's hit a couple of our cameras and the last hit was him coming into the city and he had not left so we had a good indication that he was still here," Floyd said.

Parker was found dead in his vehicle. No further details about the manner of his death have been released.

The 15-acre farm property where the victims were discovered also sustained additional losses: two cats and two dogs were found dead on the grounds. A third cat was recovered injured and transported to a veterinarian, but was later euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. Livestock from the property have since been "rehomed," according to WCSO officials.

No motive for the killings has been released.
