Woman sexually assaulted on Brooklyn sidewalk in Park Slope, suspect at large

A 38-year-old woman was shoved to the ground and sexually assaulted on a Brooklyn street early Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.
NY Post Metro reports that the suspect approached the woman from behind as she stood near 15th Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope at around 3:15 a.m. He then knocked her to the sidewalk and sexually assaulted her before walking away in an unknown direction.
The man had not been apprehended as of Sunday afternoon.
Police released surveillance footage showing the suspect walking casually through the Park Slope neighborhood. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts, a tan baseball cap, and black and white sneakers.
Sex crimes in the 72nd Precinct, which covers the area, have increased 8.1% compared to the same period last year — 40 reported incidents versus 37, according to NYPD data.
