Google News CA — Crime (EN) reports that a dual citizen who sails internationally has been arrested in British Columbia after a U.S. federal indictment for the alleged sexual exploitation of a child in Hawaii.

Donald Steven Lang, 62, was indicted in U.S. district court in Honolulu on Aug. 20, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice. He was arrested over the weekend.

The Justice Department statement also identifies Lang as wanted on child sexual abuse charges in Idaho, relating to alleged offences between 2003 and 2007.

While federal authorities did not specify the precise location of the arrest, a subsequent RCMP statement said its detachment in Ucluelet, B.C. — on the west coast of Vancouver Island — received a notification on Aug. 22 regarding a boat linked to Lang.
