Law enforcement authorities are trying to locate a 30-year-old man from Syria who resides in Larnaca, in connection with a violent incident that took place on 8 July 2026 in Xylofagou.

The individual, identified as Mohamad Almehou, is sought to assist with enquiries into a case involving a physical altercation, unlawful possession and transportation of offensive weapons, along with other offences.

Anyone with information that could help locate him is asked to contact the Xylofagou police station on 24804549, or the nearest police station, or the Citizen's Line on 1460.
