Motorcycle recovered in Misiones with seizure order for theft in Buenos Aires
During the morning of this Tuesday, security officers found a Bajaj Rouser motorcycle abandoned on Independencia Street in Wanda, Misiones province. The vehicle lacked a number plate and showed modifications to the ignition mechanism, which alerted officers to its possible illicit origin.
The agents remained at the location for a prolonged period, but no person came forward as the vehicle's owner. Witnesses from the neighbourhood indicated that the motorcycle had been parked at that spot for several hours. Given this situation, it was decided to remove the motorcycle and transport it to police headquarters.
Once at the police station, forensic specialists examined the vehicle thoroughly. Using the serial numbers and engine coding, they were able to confirm that it was registered in the system with an active seizure order for theft committed in Buenos Aires Province.
The vehicle was placed in judicial custody pending determinations by the courts. Investigators will continue with the case and will use surveillance camera footage from the area in an attempt to identify who left it at that location.
