Three motorcycles subject to seizure found in Misiones following police operations
During various procedures carried out in recent hours in several towns in Misiones, agents of the provincial force found three two-wheeled vehicles that had active seizure orders having been stolen in Buenos Aires Province.
The first incident occurred in Puerto Esperanza, on Provincial Route 227. There, uniformed officers noticed a motorcycle whose origin seemed suspicious. After initiating a pursuit, the driver abandoned the vehicle in an area of thick vegetation and managed to escape. The seized vehicle was a KTM with 390 cubic centimetres, without registration plates, whose engine and frame numbers matched a theft report filed in Buenos Aires territory.
In parallel, in the town of Wanda, personnel from the Radio Command unit conducted checks during the night on Avenida Alem. In that context, they found a parked and unoccupied Bajaj Rouser. The unit showed alterations to the ignition mechanism and was listed in the police computer system as stolen in Buenos Aires. The vehicle was taken to a police station.
The third case took place in Puerto Libertad, Itatí neighbourhood, where officers stopped a 19-year-old youth who was driving a red Honda Wave. The young man could not prove ownership of the vehicle. A search of the databases confirmed that the motorcycle had been reported as stolen in Buenos Aires during 2024. Both the driver and the unit were taken to the corresponding police station for legal proceedings. The individual involved was placed at the disposal of the courts.
