The perpetrator demanded cash and was handed over a five-figure amount in euros. He then fled the crime scene – on an e-scooter.
Following the arrival of emergency services, police immediately launched a major manhunt. It was successful: "The alleged perpetrator was apprehended and arrested in the vicinity of the crime scene a short time later," police stated. The stolen cash and the suspected weapon were also secured.
According to investigators, the weapon is believed to be a blank-firing pistol. Despite his arrest, the identity of the suspect remains unclear. The State Criminal Police Office is conducting further investigations.
