The suspects are a 19-year-old and a 36-year-old Algerian national. Officers identified both men as alleged drug dealers and took them into custody on the spot.
Searches of the individuals and the flat of one of the suspects yielded approximately 600 grammes of cannabis, 25 grammes of cannabis resin and 12 grammes of cocaine. The officers also seized 1,760 euros in cash in denominations typical of the drug scene.
On the instructions of the Vienna State Prosecutor, both men were reported to face charges under the Narcotic Drugs Act and released on bail.
