The Brussels Times reports that Belgium has launched its largest correctional criminal trial ever in connection with the Sky ECC investigation into an extensive drugs network.
The investigation quickly revealed that criminal gangs had also infiltrated parts of the legitimate above-ground economy, with port workers and lawyers being exploited.
