Prosecution to Assess Medical Report on Tatiana Marset to Determine Transfer to Palmasola
The sister of drug trafficker Sebastián Marset remains hospitalised in a private clinic in Santa Cruz. Forensic doctors from the Public Ministry will determine whether her hospitalisation is justified.

Forensic Report Will Decide if Tatiana Marset Returns to Prison
The Santa Cruz Prosecution will submit Tatiana Marset's medical report to expert evaluation to determine whether the extension of her hospitalisation in a private clinic is sufficiently justified, according to El Deber. Should it conclude that there are no solid medical reasons, transfer to Palmasola prison will be executed immediately.
The sister of Uruguayan drug trafficker Sebastián Marset was to receive discharge this Thursday, 22 October, and return to Palmasola, where she is held in preventive detention on the alleged charge of arms trafficking. However, her lawyer, Mónica Terrazas, informed the Prosecution that hospitalisation was extended for at least another week, citing her delicate state of health and the need for additional tests.
Departmental prosecutor Jimmy López explained that the report prepared by her treating doctors will be sent to forensic doctors from the Public Ministry for analysis. "That report prepared by the doctors will be sent to our forensic doctors so they can determine whether the report is considered sufficiently solid to keep her hospitalised for another week; if not, otherwise, she will be transferred immediately to the detention centre," López said.
The prosecutor recalled that a Sentencing Tribunal had already revoked Marset's house arrest and ordered her return to Palmasola. She currently remains hospitalised under police guard in a private clinic in Santa Cruz, awaiting the forensic report that will determine whether she continues to be hospitalised or returns to the Cruz prison.
