Lucerne police have arrested a 21-year-old Swiss man who is alleged to have physically attacked several women at Lucerne railway station and in an S-Bahn train in early June. This is reported by watson.ch, citing a statement from the public prosecutor's office issued on Wednesday.
The suspect is alleged to have deliberately shoved women and, in some cases, struck them with his elbow. The motive is currently being investigated by the Lucerne public prosecutor's office.
Several affected women filed complaints, whereupon police issued a public appeal for witnesses. They withdrew this appeal following the arrest.
