Lucerne police have arrested a 21-year-old Swiss man suspected of deliberately attacking women at Lucerne railway station on the morning of 1 June. According to luzernerzeitung.ch, citing a statement from the public prosecutor's office, the man has been identified as the suspected perpetrator.
The suspect is alleged to have bumped into and struck the women before fleeing the scene on an S-Bahn train heading towards Giswil. At least four female victims came forward following a police appeal for witnesses.
According to Lucerne police, the man's motive remains unclear. Investigations into why he deliberately attacked women are ongoing.
