Three suspected pickpockets arrested in Gossau – stolen goods recovered
The St.Gallen cantonal police arrested three men, aged 17, 23 and 18, on Saturday morning in connection with pickpocketing offences in Gossau.

Hunt in Gossau ends with three arrests
On Saturday morning, the St.Gallen cantonal police received several reports of pickpocketing in the Gossau area, as tagblatt.ch reports. An immediate search operation led to the arrest of three men aged 17, 18 and 23.
Investigators recovered stolen goods belonging to Gossau residents at the homes of the arrested men. In addition, they found further items that are suspected to have come from other thefts.
All three men are Algerian nationals and reside abroad. The public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation. There is suspicion that the trio is responsible for multiple offences in the St.Gallen canton. The migration office is also examining possible immigration law measures.
