The Uri cantonal police, with support from several other police forces, carried out house searches in Schattdorf and in Ticino. Several narcotics were seized and four people were taken into custody.

The Uri state prosecutor's office informed the public on Tuesday of a joint drug raid. Officers from the Uri cantonal police searched apartments in Schattdorf as well as at further locations in Ticino. They were supported by police officers from the cantons of Schwyz, Nidwalden and Ticino.
In the course of the operation, investigators seized various narcotics. Out of consideration for the ongoing criminal proceedings, the state prosecutor's office provided no exact details about the seized substances.
Four suspects were taken into police custody. Among those arrested are three Swiss nationals and one Serbian. For one of the Swiss nationals, authorities requested pre-trial detention.
