During a routine check on the main road in Susch, the Graubünden cantonal police stopped a 29-year-old woman from Germany last Thursday. The vehicle driver was travelling together with a 25-year-old Swiss man as a passenger in a delivery van.
During the inspection, the officers determined that the German woman was no longer fit to drive. Her driving licence was immediately confiscated and criminal proceedings have been initiated against her.
A subsequent vehicle search, in which a detection dog was deployed, revealed an extensive drugs package. The police seized various illegal substances, including psilocybin mushrooms, cannabis, cocaine and other controlled drugs in powder and pill form. The exact quantities are currently still the subject of investigations.
