Shots fired in confrontation in Bülach – police search for perpetrators
Shots were fired during a dispute between several people on late Tuesday evening in Bülach. The Zurich cantonal police and the public prosecutor have launched investigations.

During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a violent confrontation occurred in Bülach in which at least one firearm was used. The Zurich cantonal police were alerted at around 23:00.
Several individuals became involved in a confrontation near the intersection of Schaffhauserstrasse and Winterthurerstrasse. Those involved were present with several motor vehicles. During the course of the incident, shots were fired, as the authorities announced the following day. Based on the information available so far, no one was injured by the projectiles.
The officers who arrived on scene secured two cars at the scene as well as several shell casings. Specialists from the Zurich Forensic Institute were called in to secure and evaluate evidence. The investigators are working to determine the exact circumstances, motive and identity of the shooters.
The search for the suspects is ongoing. The Zurich cantonal police and the competent public prosecutor are conducting the investigation. The public is asked to report any relevant information to the investigating authorities. Source: NZZ
