Several shots were fired in Bülach ZH during the night into Tuesday in the course of an altercation between multiple people. Police are searching for those involved.

Around 22:30 on late Tuesday evening, the operations centre of the Zurich cantonal police received several emergency calls. In the area of Schaffhauser and Winterthur streets in Bülach, shots were fired during a confrontation between multiple people involved. The individuals had arrived at the scene in several vehicles.
Officers who were immediately alerted secured two cars at the scene as well as various empty cartridge cases. By press time, there were no indications of injured persons.
Specialists from the Zurich Forensic Institute continued to secure evidence at the scene the following day, accompanied by several patrol cars. The search for the people involved is ongoing. The Zurich cantonal police and the public prosecutor's office are investigating the background, the exact sequence of events and the motives.
