In the Swiss canton of Zurich, a 46-year-old Slovak citizen was abducted on Monday evening. A group of four foreigners attacked the man directly on the street in the municipality of Wallisellen and forced him into a waiting vehicle after a brief threat. This was reported by the portal Topky.sk.

The perpetrators took the victim to an unknown location and held him captive in a strange flat. The situation became critical around two o'clock in the morning when police received an urgent emergency call that a man was being held against his will in a flat in Winterthur.

Emergency responders immediately rushed to the scene. Officers stormed the specified flat, where they found the frightened Slovak alongside two of the alleged abductors. The two 42-year-old men from Montenegro were overpowered and arrested on the spot.

Thanks to intensive investigative work, police succeeded in tracking down the two remaining accomplices in the hours that followed. They were two further Montenegrin nationals aged 30 and 35.

All four arrested persons were handed over to the public prosecutor's office following police questioning, which immediately filed a request for detention. The exact course of events and the motive for why the group targeted the 46-year-old Slovak specifically remain the subject of ongoing investigations. Swiss authorities have not commented on further details so far.
