Swiss authorities are investigating a serious abduction case in which a 46-year-old Slovak citizen was the victim. The incident occurred on Monday evening in the municipality of Wallisellen in the canton of Zurich. A group of four men attacked the victim directly on the street and forced him to get into a prepared vehicle. This was reported by the portal Topky.sk.
The perpetrators brought the Slovak to an unknown location and held him against his will. The situation escalated around two o'clock in the morning, when police received an urgent tip that a man was being held against his will in an apartment in Winterthur.
Special forces immediately carried out a raid on the specified apartment. In addition to the frightened Slovak, officers found two of the suspected abductors on site. The police officers overpowered and arrested the men immediately. They were two 42-year-old Montenegrin citizens.
Thanks to intensive operational investigations, Swiss police managed to locate the two remaining accomplices in the following hours. They too were Montenegrin citizens aged 30 and 35.
All four detainees were handed over to the public prosecutor's office following police questioning, which immediately filed a remand request. The exact circumstances of the abduction and the motive why the group focused specifically on the Slovak citizen are the subject of ongoing investigations.
