Police in the cantons of Uri and Ticino have seized drugs and arrested four suspects in a joint operation. Officers from Uri were supported by colleagues from Schwyz, Nidwalden and Ticino, as swissinfo.ch reports.
The searches took place in Schattdorf in the canton of Uri as well as at further locations in Ticino. For reasons related to the ongoing proceedings, the public prosecutor's office did not provide precise details of the seized substances. They consisted merely of various types of narcotics.
The four people arrested are three Swiss nationals and one Serb. They were questioned by police. For one of the Swiss nationals, the police applied to the court for remand in custody.
