Four suspects have been arrested following a failed break-in at a shop in Aarberg. Two of them are juveniles.

In the early morning hours, police succeeded in arresting four persons who had previously attempted to break into a shop at Aarberg's town square. The suspects consist of two adults and two juveniles.
Officers were alerted at around 4:30 a.m. At the scene, they found traces of violent entry at the entrance and shop window of the affected business. The alleged perpetrators had already fled the scene.
A patrol from the Neuchâtel cantonal police discovered the getaway vehicle shortly afterwards near Neuchâtel-Vauseyon. The vehicle was travelling at significantly excessive speed. In the Vue-des-Alpes tunnel, the vehicle collided with another car; fortunately, there were no injuries.
The occupants subsequently ignored both a police roadblock and a warning signal. They continued their flight to La Chaux-de-Fonds, where they abandoned the damaged car and fled on foot. Shortly afterwards, they were caught by law enforcement.
In addition to the getaway vehicle, a second car was seized. Both vehicles had been reported stolen. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
