In the night leading into Tuesday, Lucerne police stopped two alleged burglars in the city of Lucerne. The arrest was made shortly before 3 a.m. following a brief pursuit.
The two men, aged 25 and 26, are from Algeria and Egypt. They are said to have previously broken into two shops near the train station and stolen items from them.
The investigation is being conducted by the Lucerne Public Prosecutor's Office.
