Limassol District Court imposed a life sentence on Tuesday on a man aged 24 for the murder of two men in Limassol in 2024.
The defendant was found guilty of the double murder of Andreas Kouzoupis, 39, and David Tsmélár from Slovakia, 38. The victims were found inside a burnt-out vehicle near the Parekklesías-Kellakiou road in July 2024.
The judicial proceedings continue with a second defendant, a man aged 20, who also faces charges of premeditated murder of both victims.
A formal autopsy conducted on the bodies later revealed that the two victims had been shot in the head before the vehicle was set on fire.
