A motorcycle that was stolen from a company on 22 May 2026 was found charred in an open space in Nicosia district, following an arson that occurred around 1:30 in the afternoon.
Members of the Fire Service extinguished the fire, which had been deliberately set using an inflammable substance. From the subsequent investigations, it was established that the motorcycle belonged to a company and had been reported as stolen to the police.
The Morphou CID continues investigations to identify the perpetrators and establish the motives behind the act.
