33-year-old arrested in Nicosia for drugs case
A 33-year-old individual was brought in by the prosecuting authorities today as a warrant that had been issued against him was executed. The arrest was made as part of an investigation into a case related to the discovery of illegal substances.
The suspect was placed in custody and is expected to be presented tomorrow morning at the District Court of the capital, where the request for the issuance of a detention order will be discussed.
It is noted that as part of the same investigation, the arrest of a 31-year-old had previously taken place. Before the arrest of the 31-year-old, a search was carried out at his vehicle and at his home in Nicosia Province, during which various findings were discovered and confiscated.
