Suspected arson in Aradippou: three vehicles damaged
A 65-year-old man's vehicle caught fire in the early hours of Thursday outside a residential property in Aradippou. Two other cars sustained damage, with no injuries reported.
Arson in Aradippou: complete destruction of 65-year-old man's vehicle
According to Cyprus Mail, a fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday, around 1 a.m., outside a residential property in Aradippou, completely destroying a 65-year-old man's vehicle.
Authorities were notified immediately and police officers, along with firefighters and officials from the Civil Defence Commission, rushed to the scene.
In addition to the 65-year-old man's car, the flames spread to two adjacent parked vehicles — one belonging to a 66-year-old man and one to a 36-year-old woman — causing damage to both.
No injuries were reported. An investigation is being conducted to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire, which is being investigated as a possible case of arson. The case remains ongoing.
