Spectacular SEK arrest in Munich pedestrian zone
The trial against Vladimir F. has begun before Munich Regional Court I. According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the 40-year-old car dealer is accused of selling 123 kilograms of cocaine worth approximately €2.8 million in Munich within a single year.
The arrest of the accused took place in the middle of Munich's pedestrian zone – carried out by the special operations unit (SEK). Investigators believe that an internationally active drug organisation stands behind Vladimir F.
According to the newspaper, the wider context of the case is extraordinarily extensive: in connection with the overall matter, there emerge a man with false identity, a football club with a 27-point deduction, and an attempted murder of a police officer. However, these circumstances are not personally imputed to Vladimir F.
