Police seek two fugitives over homicides in Santiago, Dominican Republic

According to the preliminary investigation report, the incident was triggered by personal conflicts between the two men, resulting in a shooting confrontation. Acevedo Mota sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died whilst receiving care at a health centre. Arrest warrant No. 2026-AJ0060451 has been issued against Hernández Reyes.
The second case involves Francis Enmanuel García Núñez, alias "Francis", aged 28, accused as the presumed perpetrator of the homicide of Divanny García Almonte, alias "Jordan". This incident occurred on 13 July 2026 in the La Parcela sector, in the municipal district of Hato del Yaque. The arrest warrant issued against him bears the number 2026-AJ0058961, for violating the laws that define and penalise the crime of homicide.
The police institution made a public call to both individuals to turn themselves in through whatever means they deem appropriate. Additionally, it requested the collaboration of the public to provide any information about the whereabouts of the fugitives, guaranteeing that information will be handled under strict confidentiality through official channels.
