Colombia and the United States conducted a joint operation in which they confiscated more than two tonnes of cocaine on a ship near Ecuador's coast, according to Svenska Dagbladet.
US armed forces located the vessel as it travelled along a route used for drug trafficking. Three individuals were arrested and 2.2 tonnes of cocaine were seized. The exact date of the operation was not disclosed.
