Officers from the National Police Force have dismantled a property in the Córdoban capital that operated as a distribution centre for narcotics throughout almost the entire day. The operation, named 'Oficina', resulted in the arrest of two individuals who administered the premises, to whom the alleged commission of a crime against public health is attributed.
According to details provided by the armed institution itself in a press release, the investigation began at the start of the present year as part of a crackdown plan against medium and large-scale drug trafficking applied in the province. Investigators observed a constant flow of people at the window of a property located in the Solares de San Rafael neighbourhood, where hashish and cannabis were primarily purchased.
The investigation confirmed that the property operated as a permanent illicit business, with virtually uninterrupted opening hours. Those responsible even supplied substances to underage buyers, a circumstance that aggravates the facts.
Following the corresponding judicial authorisation, officers carried out a search of the property, bringing the sales point's activity to an end. In the search, over 120 grammes of hashish were seized, both in blocks and in slabs already prepared for sale, as well as cash and various instruments used for cutting and packaging the drug.
