Police arrest 25-year-old in Dantxarinea over synthetic drugs
A preventive check in Dantxarinea uncovered a cache of synthetic drugs, cannabis, cocaine and hashish. The detainee was found with quantities far exceeding permitted levels for personal consumption.

Arrest for drug possession in trafficking quantities
The Foral Police arrested a 25-year-old man in Dantxarinea on Saturday following a preventive patrol in a car park. Officers detected the smell of cannabis in a vehicle and searched its interior, finding a bag containing multiple substances in quantities that exceeded the legal thresholds for personal consumption.
According to El Confidencial, the seized material included 29 grammes of MDPEP, a high-potency stimulant; 18 grammes of 3-FMA, a methamphetamine derivative; eight milligrammes of LSD on perforated sheets—a quantity that tripled the legal threshold—; 61 grammes of cannabis; small quantities of cocaine powder and hashish, as well as a precision scale. The arrested man admitted to being the owner of the substances and stated he had acquired them via the internet.
The Foral Police described the quantities of synthetic drugs as "multiplied in a very significant manner" compared to the limits permitted for personal consumption, a determining factor that led to his immediate arrest on suspicion of an offence against public health. The proceedings were conducted by the Northern Judicial Brigade in Pamplona. The young man was presented to the competent court together with the seized items, and he was subsequently released.
