Prosecutor General Ari-Pekka Koivisto has announced that his office will not take the district court decision to the Turku Court of Appeal, which acquitted Anneli Auer and Jens Kuka, who changed his name.

The District Court of Varsinais-Suomi had previously dismissed the charges brought against them. Now the Prosecutor General's office has decided not to seek a review of this ruling.

This means that the acquittal from the lower court level remains final. The case will therefore not proceed to the Court of Appeal.
