Homicide in Varkaus – police made two arrests
The Eastern Finland Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place in Varkaus, North Savo, on Midsummer's Eve. The emergency response centre received a report at approximately eight o'clock in the evening.
Authorities who arrived at the scene observed signs of external violence on the victim. Emergency medical units attempted to save the man, but he died from his injuries in the house where the act took place.
Police arrested two individuals at the crime scene. Their roles in the events are currently being investigated. The investigation is being conducted under the charge of manslaughter.
