Man broke into flat via balcony in Espoo
Police arrested a man in Kivenlahti, Espoo on Tuesday who had entered a flat to steal items. He is suspected of aggravated theft.
The perpetrator climbed up construction scaffolding to the roof of an adjacent building and moved from there to the balcony of another building. The flat's balcony door was open, so the man was able to get inside.
A police patrol arrived at the scene, but the man had managed to escape. However, he was apprehended shortly afterwards in the vicinity of the incident location.
– The man was caught quickly, says Detective Superintendent Jyrki Kallio.
