The shop was robbed on Tuesday morning shortly after eight o'clock in Kuopio's Päivärannan. The target was a Sale store.
The suspected perpetrator is a large man estimated to be 185–190 centimetres tall. He was wearing sunglasses on his head and a large black rucksack on his back. The man was dressed in a green jacket, black trousers with white seams, and black footwear.
The police in Eastern Finland are asking anyone who has seen a person matching these details to report their observations. In urgent situations, contact should be made with the emergency centre. Other information can be provided to the number 029 541 5232.
