Ostrobothnia police are investigating an assault case in which a suspect armed with a bladed weapon attacked another person in Vaasa city centre on Saturday night.
The emergency centre received a report of an assault that had just occurred on the night between Saturday and Sunday. When a patrol arrived at the scene, there were several people present, and the suspect was arrested immediately at the scene of the incident. The assault took place in outdoor areas in the city centre.
Prior to the physical confrontation, the parties had argued verbally with each other.
