Three arrests for drugs in West Attica — the 21-year-old with delivery box
Three young people, aged 14, 17 and 21, were arrested in Petroupoli and Peristeri by police officers from the Immediate Action on Narcotics Division of the General Police Directorate of Attica, according to In.gr.
The three suspects were engaged in the trafficking of narcotic substances in the wider West Attica area. From the preliminary investigation, it emerged that they stored quantities of cocaine and cannabis in their homes.
The 21-year-old was responsible for distribution, using a motorbike to approach minors. To avoid police checks, he had placed a box from a well-known courier company on his vehicle, inside which he concealed the narcotic substances. He also kept a specially modified vehicle key with a secret compartment.
The motorbike was seized, and searches of the homes and property of the suspects found and seized narcotic substances. A case file was prepared against the arrested individuals for violation of legislation on addictive substances, firearms and violence against officials — depending on the circumstances.
The arrests were carried out as part of targeted operations by the Immediate Action on Narcotics Division to identify dealers and traffickers of narcotics, following an investigation of information about the activities of the young people. The arrested individuals were taken before the competent prosecutor.
