Varaždin: Driver hits teenager on bicycle and flees
In the morning hours in Varaždin, an unknown driver hit a 15-year-old cyclist in a car park. The boy subsequently sought medical assistance, and police are asking witnesses to come forward.

This morning at around 7:15, a traffic accident occurred in the car park of a shop on Jalkovečka Street. The driver of an unknown vehicle began to merge into traffic but failed to first ensure it was safe. The front of the vehicle struck a 15-year-old boy on a bicycle, knocking him down.
After the collision, the driver left the scene of the accident. The minor subsequently sought medical assistance at Varaždin Hospital on his own. The extent of his injuries has not yet been determined.
Police are calling on any potential witnesses to come forward by telephone on 042/372-404 or 192. They may also report in person to the Traffic Police Station in Varaždin.
